We want to help you understand the difference between percentage and milligram (mg) measurements, so you can make an informed decision when choosing the best CBD oil product.
Which CBD oil should I buy?
The answer is very simple: The most important information for you is the CBD content of the product, which is always expressed in milligrams (mg). It doesn’t matter if it’s a 1% or 15% product; it all depends on how many milligrams of CBD it contains.
Let’s take a specific example: Would you get more benefit from 1000mg of Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) dissolved in 1 dl of water or in 3 dl of water? Of course, it’s the same, even though it’s more concentrated.
Why don’t USA Medical CBD oils have percentage markings?
We focus on clarity for our customers. You might have noticed that medications and vitamins always indicate their active ingredient content in milligrams (mg). Why? Because the value and effect of the product depend solely on this!
Any other information can mislead the buyer. The dosage of the product is determined in milligrams, just like clinical trials are conducted based on specific milligram doses. You won’t find any percentages anywhere.
Does 10% CBD oil work differently than 1%?
The answer is clearly no; you just need to use less of the more concentrated solution!
Unfortunately, many CBD sellers offer small quantities of 10ml CBD oil at a very high price, claiming the product has a high percentage of CBD. Did you know that a 10ml, 4% CBD oil usually only contains about 368mg of CBD?
Understanding CBD Oil Percentages
Is 10 ml the same as 10 grams (10,000mg)? No, because the solution is not water-based!
Since we are talking about a hemp oil-based solution, 10 ml of CBD solution is equal to 9.2 grams (9200mg).
So, the 4% of the 10 ml CBD solution means: 9.2g * 0.04 = 0.368g
It’s only 368 mg of CBD content!
The 10% CBD solution of 10 ml contains only 920 mg of CBD.
A high percentage does not guarantee high CBD content!
Example: Buying 30% CBD Oil
The USA Medical 30 milliliter CBD oil with 3000 milligrams of CBD is equivalent to the 30% CBD product available in 10-milliliter bottles on the market. USA Medical offers a 30ml package for easier dosage.
As a result, the CBD concentration decreases, but the CBD content remains the same as the 30% products available in the market.
Only the CBD content matters
USA Medical products are made by Folium Biosciences, one of the world’s largest CBD oil producers based in Colorado. Don’t believe in high percentage values; always calculate the real CBD content of the product if it’s not specified on the packaging. Not all CBD products are the same, choose carefully where you get yours from!
