When shopping for CBD Oil online, many CBD users are worried about the psychoactive effects of THC—and rightfully so! It’s important that any CBD user can trust the CBD brand they purchased their CBD Oil from to remove all THC from the product.

At USA Medical, we use hemp extract vs cannabis extract from many other companies, which means there is already an extremely low amount of THC. However, there’s still a requirement to remove the final percent of THC to ensure our product is 0.0% THC.

The best way to verify whether or not a company is removing its THC is to see a CBD lab test on the actual CBD product page, which we post publicly at USA Medical—but not every company follows our lead.

In this blog, we’ll discuss why it’s so important to remove the THC from CBD Oil, answer the question of does CBD Oil have THC in it, and discuss the benefits of CBD vs THC—and whether THC has any benefits at all. While we are primarily CBD and CBG researchers, we spent a lot of time as THC researchers preparing for this article and are excited to share our findings with you.

CBD vs THC

First and foremost, what is the difference between CBD and THC? According to the federal government, THC is on the Schedule 1 drug list, which means it has no medical use whatsoever. While we don’t necessarily believe that, we trust federal researchers to update the Schedule list as new information is learned. Currently, there is no published research from the federal government on the benefits of THC.

However, the federal government has approved CBD as a medicinal treatment for certain conditions, including seizures caused by Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome and Dravet Syndrome.

When USA Medical was first started, we believed CBD would never have FDA approval. However, we are excited to announce that the FDA has approved CBD as a safe treatment for certain conditions under the brand name Epidiolex. However, Epidolex does not use hemp-based USDA organic CBD as we do at USA Medical, which means we go above and beyond the FDA’s requirements for safe CBD.

Now, back to the benefits of THC vs CBD. Let’s discuss in detail what we believe the benefits of CBD vs THC are.

The Benefits of THC

The main benefit known among cannabis users for THC is its ability to stimulate appetite. While the amount of THC needed to stimulate appetite is still unknown due to lack of research, many THC users report small doses affect their appetite greatly.

This can be beneficial for people suffering from conditions like cancer who are currently undergoing chemotherapy and need appetite stimulation.

However, the negative effects of THC are far greater and well-known, including paranoia, anxiety, and even schizophrenia. THC researchers have found that even small amounts of THC can induce massive anxiety and paranoia, which can lead to long-term schizophrenia—while we do not have any proof in research form, we believe THC has far more negative effects than positive effects, which is why we focus on the incredible benefits of CBD.

The Benefits of CBD

The benefits of CBD include anxiety relief, which is the complete opposite of THC, stress relief, and sleep support.

The main benefit of CBD is its ability to help you fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer, which is verified by our thousands of customer testimonials who use CBD for sleep.

Many people wonder, does broad-spectrum CBD have THC in it? And the answer is absolutely not—at USA Medical, all of our CBD and CBG oils are broad-spectrum, meaning they have the full spectrum of cannabinoids with the exception of THC, making it a broad-spectrum oil.

So that means the answer to the question, does full-spectrum CBD have THC, is yes, which is why we don’t sell any full-spectrum products at USA Medical.

For transparency, we used to offer a full-spectrum CBD capsule, but our advisors and legal team decided it was best to remove it as the effects of THC are still unknown in many ways. That means everything you can purchase at USA Medical is 100% safe and THC-free.

How Much THC in CBD?

How much thc is in cbd oil

THC and CBD are two different cannabinoids. (THC is tetrahydrocannabinol, and CBD is cannabidiol.) That means CBD and THC are completely different, and neither of them has any of the other in it. CBD is not even similar to THC!

However, CBD Oil is a product produced by many different manufacturers. At USA Medical, we ensure 0% THC in our CBD Oil. So, the answer to how much THC in CBD at USA Medical is 0.0%. Absolutely zero.

So here at USA Medical, it’s obvious the answer to does CBD Oil have THC is no. Absolutely none. However, that’s not the case everywhere.

Does Full-Spectrum CBD Have THC?

Yes. The answer to does full-spectrum CBD have THC is absolutely yes, which is why we do not offer any full-spectrum products at USA Medical.

The amount of THC in full-spectrum products varies, but the federally legal limit of THC is 0.3%. However, that does not prevent the psychoactive effects of THC from occurring. Even a small percent of THC can induce paranoia and anxiety and cause unknown negative effects for the user.

That is why THC researchers advise against using any THC (and all drugs similar to THC) if you are trying to relieve anxiety, stress, and sleep better.

Similar to THC, CBD can actually stimulate appetite in a less pronounced way, which means even if you are struggling with appetite and want the benefit of appetite stimulation, CBD can still help you without any of the negative effects of THC.

So, how much THC in CBD Oil is there? Well, it’s hard to say when companies don’t post their lab tests publicly, but some companies do show a small percent of THC in their full-spectrum CBD Oil, and we recommend avoiding them at all costs.

Does Broad-Spectrum CBD Have THC?

No, broad-spectrum CBD should not have any THC in it whatsoever. However, this can only be verified by lab test results.

At USA Medical, you can see every lab test result on our product pages to verify that what we say is true. If a company says their CBD is THC-free but does not post the lab test result, you cannot trust them, and you should not buy from them.

So, when it comes to broad-spectrum, the answer to does CBD Oil have THC in it is no. There should be absolutely no THC in any broad-spectrum Oil, and you are never at risk of experiencing the psychoactive effects of THC when using a broad-spectrum CBD Oil product.

Does USA Medical CBD Oil Have THC?

No, absolutely not. USA Medical CBD Oil has 0.0% THC, absolutely zero. That’s because we want to ensure our customers that our CBD Oil is safe and effective for everyone from young to old.

And unlike companies like CannaSafe, who have been fined by the FDA for including THC in their CBD Oil (see that lawsuit here), the percent of THC in USA Medical CBD Oil will always be 0.0%, which is proven by our lab test results on every product page.

So, while that lawsuit proves that some companies lie, and even though they say the answer to does CBD Oil have THC in it is no, they still include THC without telling you.

At USA Medical, our values are trust and transparency, which means every step of the way, you can see exactly what our products have in it, and you can verify what we say is true by seeing our lab test results from multiple third-party laboratories around the world. (We go a step further from just testing ourselves and outsource our testing to multiple third-party laboratories in the United States and Europe.)

While we can’t speak for other companies, the answer at USA Medical is no. There is absolutely no THC Oil in our CBD Oil.

We promise our customers that our CBD Oil will always be safe and effective for everyone to use with zero risk of experiencing the psychoactive effects of THC.

While some companies believe a small amount of THC is okay in their full-spectrum CBD Oil, we believe no percent of THC Oil is okay, which means our broad-spectrum CBD products have 0.0% THC in them.
