Eszkulap Animal Protection Association
Introduction:
The Eszkulap Association was founded in 2016 and rescues dogs from animal control shelters nationwide. They care for 150-180 dogs at a time and rescue between 300-500 dogs annually, although many dogs remain under their care for a year or even several years.
They operate two smaller shelters. One is located in the town of Many on the border of Fejer County. These shelters can accommodate 20-25 dogs simultaneously. Dogs that require rehabilitation and/or have been in their care for a longer period, and are not placed with temporary foster homes or family boarding, are housed here. Most of their dogs available for adoption live in paid dog boarding facilities. This arrangement allows them to adjust capacity based on available resources, scaling spaces up or down without compromising care quality or staff safety.
The Eszkulap Association also rescues older dogs, who often arrive with several age-related health issues and a history of poor care. Common problems include heartworm, abnormal liver values, skin conditions, old injuries, neglected teeth, tartar buildup, broken teeth, and eye problems.

How do they give it, and how much do they use each day?
Healthy dogs at the Association do not receive CBD oil. When it is used, the team starts with a small amount and adjusts gradually as needed based on the dog’s response.

Information about CBD oil was gathered from U.S. websites. The Association’s president tried it with her own dog and reported a noticeable change in overall well-being. Other caregivers have also shared positive experiences, but results vary and a clear cause-and-effect relationship has not been proven.
