CBG and CBD are different cannabinoids found in hemp. CBG has begun to draw human research attention, including one small controlled trial. That makes it an interesting area to follow, while evidence for any finished product remains a separate question.
An early human finding
What the CBG study found
A 2024 double-blind, placebo-controlled crossover trial included 34 healthy adults who used cannabis. It tested a single 20 mg dose of hemp-derived CBG tincture. Researchers reported an overall reduction in anxiety ratings and lower stress ratings at one early measurement point. Read the study in Scientific Reports.

This controlled human study adds an early data point beyond laboratory research. It gives researchers a reason to study CBG further.
Why product claims need care
The trial tested one dose and tincture, not a retail 1:1 CBG+CBD oil. It does not establish an effect from another formula or prove benefits for energy, pain or inflammation.
